I don't mind so much because of Things I will summarise behind the cut, but my mother minds very much, which is why I'm very very angry about this. envinyatar15	12:05a	who wants to share writerly squee with me? After months and months of not touching the keyboard, thanks to mini_nanowrimo, I'm back to writing daily. Each day in November (so far), I've managed to write at least 100 words. Go me! But that's not the object of this post. I've been thinking about what to do when Mini Nano is over. How to kick my butt and stay with the writing daily? And I've come up with an idea: Is there anyone who'd like to open up a writer's group, so to speak (via email or whatever), where we can report our word counts, keep each other on track, and squee about our writing? You've got ten more days to turn things in. We've already gotten in some amazing pieces -- December is going to be fantastic! Completed pieces are due by Monday, November 30 and should be emailed to dd.mods@gmail.com. Fic must be a minimum of 1,000 words and art must be a completed piece. Both fic and art must merit at least an R rating. No crossovers permitted. Watchers: your pieces must fit into a single IJ post. The mods reserve the right to refuse any fic that contains multiple SPAG problems or art that appears to be a last-minute slap-dash sketch, so be sure to plan ahead and find a reliable beta! (Did you see the pairings?) Themes/kinks chosen: Morfin Gaunt/Quirrel, castrati Word Count: 1520 Summary: Quirrell lays in his bed at night, fidgeting. He used to sleep well, find comfort on his back in the softness of down blankets and the firmness of a good pillow and equally supportive mattress. But now he lays awake for hours, unable to deal with his own bony elbow poking into the side he has to lay on or to adjust to the soft pillow he must use now. Author's notes: I'm sorry. Where was I supposed to go with this pairing? I mean, really? I think writing Morfin Gaunt in a fluffy romance would be far more terrifying than having him in a darker fic. Right?
